The former WC and bathroom were combined to create a single, cohesive wet-room style shower space. The layout was completely reworked, including an arched entrance into the shower with a custom glass screen, softening transitions and adding architectural interest.
The room was fully tiled using a combination of Mandarin Stone and @starel_stones tiles. This included over 100 individual mitre cuts, carefully executed around the window reveals and the recessed shower niche to achieve crisp, continuous lines throughout.
Fixtures and fittings were selected from @castironbathcompany, paired with a heated towel rail from @lussostone, and a dyed floor finish to complement the overall palette. A concealed storage niche was formed behind the artwork to discreetly house everyday items, keeping the space visually calm and uncluttered.
The vanity unit was adapted from a client-sourced piece — structurally strengthened and finished with a custom-cut marble top, made specifically to suit the space. Timber panelling was installed throughout the bathroom, and the existing skylight was upgraded to an electric opening unit.
A new lighting scheme was introduced with multiple zones, including new lighting from @corstonarchitecturaldetail, creating a layered and atmospheric finish suited to both day and evening use.
